Throttle (Collective) FFBeast!!!

Throttle (Collective) "FFBeast"

Throttle (Collective) "FFBeast" project.
The unit is universal, it can be used both by Throttle and Collective.

It all depends on the handle installed on the lever, and the fastening of the unit itself.

The user can install his own handle, which he has. Or order a handle from me.
You can connect two axes and 4 buttons to the controller installed in the unit. To connect handles with a large number of buttons, you need to use an additional controller. For example, FreeJoy or a branded one from the handle manufacturer.

You may also need an adapter to attach the handle to the mechanics.

Three free programs are used to set up feedback and interaction with simulators.

The first program is designed to set up engines, the second - to check the operation outside the simulator, the third - to set up effects in simulators. Only the third program "effects" should be launched before starting the flight simulator. When playing in a flight simulator, the unit uses a combination of data from both its controller and the simulator. The program has a wide range of settings for various effects.

The author (Roman, his nickname Propeler3D) continues to work on improving the software.

The FFBeast device in any configuration is fully tested and initially configured before sending to the customer, including purchasing a "key" from the software author.

Configuration "BASA" ("Key - License", magnetic encoder MT6835 on the outside of the motors, 200-250 W motor, without a power supply, without an adapter for installing the handle, without a wire for connecting buttons on the handle, without a USB cable, without decorative overlays).

Sometimes people ask the question "why feedback for throttle"?
Personally, I use adjustable "stops or steps" at the angles of the lever deflection I need. For example, I set it to 25% and 80% of the lever stroke. 25% is low gas, and 80% is a continuous mode. And now I tactilely feel that the lever is on the "stops".
For other aircraft, you can load the appropriate profile to get "stops" at other percentages.
I also set up a small vibration at certain propeller speeds. And the magnetic adjustable damping is incomparable to any other damping materials.
In "civilian" aircraft, it is theoretically possible to implement an automatic thrust control.
It is also possible to programmatically change the angles of the lever deflection.
In the Collective version, you can assign one button to get a lever lock in any position.
In general, there is no limit to imagination.

Power supply 12 volts - 30A. There is a 220V - 110V switch on the power supply body.

220-100 V connection socket with fuse and connection cable to FFBeast.
The cover is printed on a 3D printer and closes access to the 220-110 V contacts.
The length of the cable with XT60 connectors 12v is 90 cm.

Programmable speed controller for cooling fan in power supply.
Since power supplies are different and may not have a speed controller for cooling fan, the fan runs constantly at maximum speed, which is accompanied by an uncomfortable noise level.
After installing this controller in the power supply, you can significantly reduce the noise level from the power supply.

The power supply does not come with a cable for connecting it to a power outlet (110V-220V).
You must use a cable of the required length and with a plug that matches the standard of your country (outlet).

To connect the FFBest device, you can use your own power supply with the appropriate parameters.
