The diode matrix is used for the convenience of connecting a large number of buttons, toggle switches, encoders to the controller (for example, MJoy16, FreeJoy, MMJoy). The "large" diode matrix has a size of 74mm * 33mm, the "matrix of buttons" is 8 x 12, 96 buttons and (or) toggle switches, encoders and "HAT" can be connected simultaneously.

To connect the "buttons" to the diode matrix, BLS connectors with a pitch of 2.54 mm are used.
