Joystick "FFBeast"

A joystick with force feedback and a handleless design from the FFBeast project.

The user installs and uses their own handle. A metal handle is preferable if 100% of the motors (effects) are planned.

A wide range of VPC and Thrustmaster handles, as well as other handles, can be connected to the controller installed in the joystick (more details are available on the project and software author's website: https://ffbeast.github.io/).
When using handles from other manufacturers, an additional controller from those handles will likely be required.

An adapter for attaching the handle to the mechanics may also be required.

Three free programs are used to configure force feedback and interact with flight simulators.

The first program is designed for motor tuning, the second for testing operation outside of the flight simulator, and the third for configuring effects in flight simulators. Only the third program, "Effects," should be launched before launching a flight simulator.

When playing in a flight simulator, the joystick uses a combination of data from both its controller and the flight simulator. The program offers a wide range of settings for various effects. Learn more on the project and software author's website: https://ffbeast.github.io/

The project author (Roman, nickname Propeler3D) continues to improve the software.
The FFBeast device, regardless of configuration, is fully tested and configured before shipping, including purchasing a "key" from the software author.

Basic Package:

- Black case, 21.5 cm tall, FFBeast mechanics with a deflection angle of +-15 degrees (as shown in the photo / The appearance of engines may vary).

Plastic inserts for reducing the mechanical deflection angles of the joystick (set of 2).
The initial mechanical deflection angles are approximately +-15 degrees (30 degrees total).
These inserts can be made to any smaller angle, starting from +-13 degrees (26 degrees total), based on your preference.

Power supply 12 volts - 40A. There is a 220V - 110V switch on the power supply body.

220-100 V connection socket with fuse and connection cable to FFBeast.
The cover is printed on a 3D printer and closes access to the 220-110 V contacts.
The length of the cable with XT60 connectors 12v is 90 cm.

Programmable speed controller for cooling fan in power supply.
Since power supplies are different and may not have a speed controller for cooling fan, the fan runs constantly at maximum speed, which is accompanied by an uncomfortable noise level.
After installing this controller in the power supply, you can significantly reduce the noise level from the power supply.

The power supply does not come with a cable for connecting it to a power outlet (110V-220V).
You must use a cable of the required length and with a plug that matches the standard of your country (outlet).

To connect the FFBest device, you can use your own power supply with the appropriate parameters.

The handle is 3D printed.
It's based on the handle from the "PS 28 Cruiser" aircraft.
A 20x20mm channel is machined inside the handle, running almost the entire height of the handle.
A 20x20mm aluminum profile is inserted into this channel. This ensures the handle is extremely durable for use with FFBeast joysticks!

I can design and manufacture handles from other aircraft, depending on my capabilities.
